TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh is in Kadapa today. Lokesh is in Kadapa to meet Proddutur Incharge Praveen Kumar Reddy who was arrested and lodged in Kadapa Central Jail.
Lokesh has been meeting leaders who are jailed due to Government’s Vendetta Politics. TDP cadre and the public gave a rousing reception to Lokesh at Kadapa airport.
Lokesh sat with the party leaders and incharges in the airport itself and discussed the party situation in various constituencies.
Later he started to Kadapa Central Jail in a huge rally.
For the last two days, Police have been serving notices to the TDP cadre and leaders asking them not to participate in the tour since there is no permission for the tour.
But still, the TDP leaders did not care and participated in huge numbers.
Only eighteen members were given Mulakath Permission to meet Praveen Kumar Reddy but hundreds of cadre reached the jail and shouted slogans in favor of the party and against the Government.
Later on, he went to Praveen’s house and consoled the family.
Lokesh getting such a reception in CM Jagan’s home district has become the talk of the political circles.
TDP drew a blank in the district in the 2019 elections. But the TDP cadre says the tide will turn this time.
