Things are going as scripted in Telugu Desam Party in the elevation of Nara Lokesh. The TDP Polit Bureau the other day unanimously proposed Lokesh be nominated as an MLC Candidate in MLAs Quota. A little while ago, the TDP General Secretary acknowledged and thanked the Polit Bureau for that.
“Heartfelt thanks to TDP Politburo for believing in my capabilities & proposing my name as MLC. It is an opportunity to serve people closely (sic)”, Lokesh Tweeted from his official Twitter account. MLAs Quota will mean that it will be a cakewalk for Lokesh to become MLC and from there, Cabinet berth may be just a formality.
That also mean that Lokesh will be taking an easy route to begin his political journey. This might no do good to his political prospects in the long term. Once in Naidu’s team, every movement of Lokesh will be under the scanner and his future prospects will depend on how he performance in the next two years.
