Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy resigned to his MLC Position offered by TDP in support of his brother, Shilpa Mohan Reddy who is contesting in Nandhyal By-election as YSR Congress Candidate. Chakrapani Reddy’s resignation was accepted by Council’s Deputy Chairman, Reddy Subrahmanyam.
Now stakes are high for Shilpa family in Nandhyal By-election. If at all Mohan Reddy loses the elections, it will be a huge blow to Shilpa family’s political career. They have pinned high hopes on Jagan’s Campaign in Nandhyal to do the trick for them.
The voting for the election will take place on 23rd of August. The counting will happen on 28th. The Results will be out on the same day. Political experts see this election as a Semi-Final to Big Fight in 2019 Assembly Elections.
