Kiran-Kumar-Reddy-BJPThe last Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh, Kiran Kumar Reddy finally took a decision about his political career. He joined BJP in Delhi in the presence of Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Pralhad Joshi.

Kiran Kumar Reddy, back then, misguided Andhra people to do something at the last minute to stop bifurcation. Later, he irked Telangana people by showing a piece of the Berlin Wall saying that AP and Telangana will be united like East and West Germany.

He floated Jai Samaikhyandhra Party for the 2014 elections and not even a single candidate got a deposit from the party. Later he went back to Congress and now, BJP.

Kiran Kumar Reddy became irrelevant from the day of Bifurcation and his political career never recovered.

He would have stood a chance if he opts to join TDP or YSR Congress. But his ego issues with Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan Mohan Reddy did not allow him.

He should have at least gracefully retired. But he chose a less than 1% Voteshare party like BJP and will be a liability for that party as well. KKR is yet to face an election after 2014. If he chose to contest from his home constituency, Pileru on a BJP ticket, he will face massive humiliation at the fag end of his career.
