Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu straight away landed in Rajahmundry after his 5 days Japan and one day Delhi tour. The Chief Minister made sudden inspections in Rajahmundry over various ghats over the arrangements of Godavari Pushkaralu.
He even suspended few officials over negligence and complacency. Chandrababu Naidu will be staying in the Godavari districts for the next three days to monitor and finish the arrangements for the historic festival which begins on 14th of this month.
Godavari gets Pushkaralu for every twelve years. This is Mahapushkaram which comes for every twelve Pushkarams which means a Mahapushkaram comes for 144 years. The state government had taken it very prestigiously. National Geographic channel will be making a special documentary on the event and will telecast it across the globe.
