chandrababu-naidu-camp-officeThe Irrigation building in Governorpet which will become the Camp Office of the state Chief Minister in Vijayawada is getting final touches right now. The Camp office is being readied to suit the needs of CM’s security and is expected to be complete by May 1st.

Krishna district collector Babu is personally supervising the works and he has directed the officials and contractors to report on a day-to-day basis. The progress report about the renovation works will be submitted to Naidu on 10th of this month. The security is already beefed up there even before CM relocated there. Citing security reasons, some of the wings of the Irrigation Department building are already moved to other places.

The Chief Minister is expected to spend at least three days in a week in the camp office here from April on wards. The CM asked for this arrangement to stay close to the capital and supervise the capital construction personally. The irrigation Minister Devineni Uma is already operating from a camp office in the Irrigation Building.
