Naidu to offer better deal to River Front LandsAndhra Pradesh government is briskly moving about the land pooling for the state capital and wants to perform the Bhoomi Puja as soon as possible. The Chief Minister is thinking on the lines of offering a better deal to River Front Lands so that the resisting farmers will come forward to give their lands.

It is reliably learnt that the government is prepared to offer different packages depending upon the land’s location, agricultural yield and its vicinity to the river. Instead of the offered 25000 per annum, the government is planning to give them 50000 per annum for lands which yield three crops per year.

The river front lands will also fetch the farmers 200 more square yards of commercial lands along with the promised 1000 square yards. The Chief Minister is expected to make this announcement in his next interaction with the farmers. It is known that the government has set a target of pooling 30000 acres in the first phase land pooling cillages.
