chandrababu Naidu not in a mood of entertaining extravagant wishesAndhra Pradesh government had taken a crucial decision regarding the shifting of employees to Amaravati. The state cabinet reiterated that the shifting should be done by June 2nd next year at any cost. The government had agreed to provide temporary accommodation to employees coming before that.

Employees coming to Amaravati will not get any temporary accommodation. The cabinet did not ratify the employees’ demands of double HRA, free plots in the capital etc. The government also clarified that only those children of employees who shift to Amaravati by June 2nd, 2017 will attain the local status.

Both these conditions if firmly implemented will automatically force employees to shift to Amaravati. On the other side, elaborate arrangements are being made in Vijayawada and Guntur to accommodate employees coming to Amaravati.
