Despite the insensitive attitude of the center towards the truncated Andhra Pradesh and the state level leaders trying to leg pull the government, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu seem to be still keen on maintaining good relations with BJP for the time being as the state has no option now.
Naidu reportedly agreed to give one of the three Rajya Sabha seats entitled for TDP to BJP. The saffron party will confirm its candidate after consultation with TDP. The notification for four Rajya Sabha seats will be out in the last week of this month. Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and Adala Prabhakar Reddy are front runners for the remaining two seats.
TDP is likely to be in competition for the fourth seat too after YSR Congress MLAs are rallying to join TDP. There is a strong buzz coming that tainted Union Minister, Sujana Chowdary may not get a renomination. And then we have to see who will handle the crucial Finance and Assembly affairs ministries if Yanamala goes to Rajya Sabha.
