Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu promised the land losing farmers to give residential and commercial plots in their villages itself. And looks like the state government is living to its promise.
According to the Master Plan of Amaravati, every village is allotted a separate zone for residential and commercial plots which will be given to the land losing farmers. With this deal, the farmers will have access to all the facilities of the capital and their commercial plots when sold will also fetch very high prices.
Farmers have given up about 33000 acres in the land pooling policy of the state government. On the other side, Minister Narayana had also announced that villages will not be displaced to accommodate Seed Capital as publicized in the anti-government media.
