In what can be termed as a significant development in Telangana Congress, Senior Leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy and People’s Singer, Gaddar’s son Surya Kiran has joined the party in the presence of AICC President Rahul Gandhi in Delhi a little while ago.
Nagam is discontent with BJP for quite some time now. He is not happy with BJP lacking the firepower to fight TRS. He even met BJP national president Amit Shah twice and explained him the state of affairs of the party in Telangana but then nothing really changed in the party.
Moreover, he is miffed with some Central Leaders and Minister praising the party every now and then. Nagam floated Telangana Bachao mission sometime the last year and is operating independently. He is occasionally seen in media against the government.
