Nagababu-Proving-to-be-A-Burden-to-JanasenaLast week, Nagababu is in news for two reasons which will not augur to the prospects of Janasena. Firstly, he showered praises about Gandhi’s assassin, Godse which prompted even Pawan Kalyan to distance himself from his brother’s opinion and the second is about the Balayya controversy.

As a brother, Nagababu is well within his rights to counter Balayya on Industry issues. Balayya himself gave away the chance with that ‘Distributing Lands’ comments. What followed later will disappoint Janasena! Nagababu gave political color to the controversy saying that YSRCP or Janasena – BJP may come to power in 2024 but TDP has no chance.

There is something called Opposition Unity when fighting against the Ruling Party. Nagababu’s comment will not help that. Secondly, there are no permanent friends and enemies in politics. Pawan Kalyan sailed with TDP and BJP in 2014 and shifted to communists and BSP in 2019. In 2020, he is sailing with BJP again and communists are nowhere.

In the future, TDP may return to BJP, or Janasena may part with BJP and go to TDP. Nagababu is unnecessarily burning the bridges. Even though these comments do not matter to political parties when the need arises, these comments are creating an unnecessary divide between the supporters of both parties. At some stage, there may be a situation that votes transfer does not happen even if alliances happen.
