Nadendla Manohar, as we all know, is Janasena’s Number Two leader. The other day, he made an interesting comment about alliances. “We are yet to take a decision about alliances for 2024. We will take a decision depending on the situation then. President will take a decision in accordance to People’s aspirations,” he said.
Janasena and BJP are currently alliance partners. If everything is good between them, there is no need of such a statement right now. An alliance with YSR Congress is always ruled out as we know the rivalry that exists between Pawan Kalyan and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Pawan Kalyan already burned hands by an alliance with Communist parties. Only TDP remains a possible option. If we look into the deeper meaning of what Nadendla Manohar said, it is easy to understand he is speaking in alliance with Telugu Desam Party.
Janasena can not make a big difference in Andhra Pradesh politics if it goes alone. But it can lend substantial support to TDP just like in 2014.
