Asaduddin Owaisi Attends Muslim Law BoardAll India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) had decided to file a review petition in the Ayodhya case. The decision was taken after the meeting of its Executive Committee today. Interestingly, UP Sunni Central Waqf Board welcomed the Supreme Court verdict regarding the Ayodhya land dispute case.

The Board made it clear that it will not go for any review or file any curative petition against the same. Sources say that the AIMPLB is aware that the review petition will be rejected but they, in principle, want to explore all legal options available.

In a unanimous verdict last week, the Supreme Court cleared the way for the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya and directed the Centre to allot a five-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque. The board has also decided to reject the offer of 5-acre land for a mosque

MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi who is opposing the verdict right after it is delivered also attended this meeting in Lucknow.
