Kapu Strongman Mudragada Padmanabham is suddenly taken back with Andhra Pradesh Government passing Kapu Reservations Bill in just 48 hours. Naidu totally sidelined Mudragada in the process. Leave the issue of consulting him, the government did not even inform him about the proceedings.
Mudragada took hours to respond on the issue and he tried to make things even tough for Naidu by demanding more reservations and trying to belittle Naidu’s contribution by saying that celebrations should happen only after Center’s nod.
Kapu Community did not respond even to Mudragada’s Statement and there are no protests for more reservations. Mudragada took the issue at a personal level and developed animosity towards Chandrababu and so is struggling to come to terms with the latest developments.
“Kapu Community Realized that the State Government has done whatever it could. They know from day one it has to be the center which will take the final call. Given Center’s callousness towards the state, they do not even pinpoint Naidu in case that is not done. It is a win-win for TDP,” a political expert said. Mudragada suddenly becomes irrelevant in politics.
