After Dhoni filed a complaint with Delhi Police alleging that his three mobile phones went missing in the hotel he was staying with his Jharkhand team. Police even booked a man for allegedly stealing the cricketer’s phones.
The phones were found and recovered soon. However, the officials stated that there was a misunderstanding with the man who took the phones. The man is actually the staff of the hotel who entered the cricketer’s room with a couple of others to sanitize the same and took the phones without knowing whom they belong to.
As the hotel management say, the man has agreed on taking the phones and cooperated with the investigation and no FIR has been filed against their staff. The incident occurred on Friday where there was an evacuation of the hotel due to smoke entering the rooms.
