Many WhatsApp users were once again taken for a ride when yet another fake news cropped on the social media platform amidst various Valentines day messages. This unique message talked of a young lover from Mumbai who tried to express his love for his girlfriend by decoration a car with 2000 Rs. Notes but was instead arrested by the police for disrupting India currency.
It has now been proven that the whole story is completely untrue and the picture of the car decorated with the rupee notes are instead part of a promotional stint by a car service company named Zap.
However, before the whole truth came to light, the message has already rapidly spread across India and this once again brings up the question of authenticity of any news cropping up on social media platforms.
