There is something with Narendra Modi these days which even BJP supporters can not digest. In a tryst to defeat Mamatha Banarjee at any cost in West Bengal, Modi and Amit Shah did numerous rallies and Public meetings in the state in COVID times.
There are allegations that the Central Government has influenced the Election Commission to have the Bengal election in eight phases in a pandemic. There was a strong criticism for such rallies back then but Modi and Shah did not care as they were only focused on winning Bengal.
Now, the elections are over everyone thought the concentration will be completely on COVID control. Now, the BJP has announced a nationwide dharna on 5th May against the widespread violence unleashed by TMC workers post the election results in West Bengal. They say the protests will be held following all Covid protocols but don’t we all know the ground reality?
This has evoked huge criticism once again. Even the supporters could not digest politics during a pandemic. Some of them are asking, ‘Modiji, What’s Wrong with You?’.
