Telugu Desam Party has gained momentum after Ongole Mahanadu. Chandrababu Naidu immediately took off to district tours so as to keep the steam going.
Right then, we can see things moving in the other camp as well. Pawan Kalyan started talking about alliance options sending a message that TDP is dependent on alliance options.
And then, there are ED raids on JC Brothers in Anantapur. It looks like an idea to stop TDP in Rayalaseema where the party is already severely battered in the 2019 elections.
And then, we have seen how the Jagan Government attacked TDP Senior leader Ayyannapathrudu with JCBs. Both these are attempts to scare TDP leaders into silence.
The understanding between Jagan and the BJP is clear to everyone.
That will be understandable further when Jagan lends unconditional support to the NDA candidate in the Presidential elections.
While Pawan Kalyan looks upset with state BJP leaders, he always maintained cordial relations with Delhi. It will be no surprise if they are making Pawan Kalyan talk about alliances so that people get a feeling that TDP can not win the election alone.
TDP did not speak about alliances ever since Mahanadu even then, Pawan Kalyan is continuously mentioning them giving rise to doubts.
“This is clearly the gameplan of BJP helped by Jagan and Pawan Kalyan. Modi and Amit Shah have started Operation Target TDP. We need to fight an election similar to 2019,” TDP leaders are saying in their internal discussions.
