Modi Puts Pressure on JaganYS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government in Andhra Pradesh is hellbent on conducting the exams for 10th standard and Intermediate students. Upon the pressure of the Opposition and the fear of intervention by the courts, the state government has agreed to postpone the examinations.

The Government mentioned that the CBSE is still in favor of conducting the exams. It has informed the court that it will review the situation in July and take a decision. The government is hoping that things will be better by then and it can conduct exams as per its earlier stance.

But then, the Central Government has announced canceling the CBSE 12th Board exams the other day. This decision of the Central Government will put additional pressure on Jagan Government. It has to be seen how the state government responds to this issue!

On the other side, there are some reports which claim that children may be the most affected in a possible third wave. If that is true, the government will not be left with any option but to cancel the exams.
