Modi is too busy to care for andhra pradeshDisturbing reports are emerging about the callousness of the Central government towards Andhra Pradesh. It is said that Niti Aayog Vice President Arvind Panagariya who was asked to come out with a report on ‘compensatory assistance package’ for the bifurcated state, had indeed finished the report a fortnight ago.

Panagariya was to submit the report to the Prime Minister couple of weeks back but was not getting the Prime Minister’s appointment. Narendra Modi was reportedly too busy with campaigning in Bihar elections and had not even confirmed the appointment till date.

Panagariya reportedly informed about this to Venkaiah Naidu who assured to personally request the PM to give time to discuss the AP special status as it has become a sentimental issue in the state. The Special Package may be announced in PM’s next visit to AP in January the next year.
