BJP National President Amit Shah was supposed to visit Andhra Pradesh from 28th of this month for three days. He was supposed to meet some important Kapu leader along with other OBC communities in a move to strengthen the party’s base in the coastal state.
A couple of days, before the trip, Center has got an intelligence report about the favourable winds for TDP in Nandhyal. Sensing that the move would rub TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu the wrong way, Amit Shah has postponed his trip.
BJP also abandoned the idea of tying up with Jagan for now and decided to sail with TDP. Immediately, after the result is out, Modi congratulated TDP Candidate on the win and termed TDP as a valued ally of NDA which indicates the mood of BJP.
