modi and kejriwal in top 100 inflluential peopleAn online poll conducted by the Times Magazine decided that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will find a place in World’s 100 Most Influential list. Russian President Vladimir Putin emerged the winner of this year’s Time 100 readers’ poll.

Rapper-singer CL (of the South Korean girl-group 2NE1), Pop stars Lady Gaga (2.6 %), Rihanna (1.9 %) and Taylor Swift are the rest of the people in the top five. US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, the Dalai Lama, Harry Potter actress Emma Watson, Nobel peace prize winner Malala Yousafzai, Pope Francis, Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Chinese President Xi Jinping are the other prominent names in the list.

More than half of the votes 57.38 % came from the United State. Canada and the UK followed with 5.54 % and 4.55 % respectively. It is said that Modi garnered just 0.6 % of the votes cast, while Kejriwal got 0.5 %.
