Modi accepts Pak invitation to visit their country

The 50 minutes meeting of the new Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan Prime Minister, Nawaz Shariff mostly revolved around terrorism. Narendra Modi mentioned to Shariff about the violations of cease fire across the border and slow pace of trial in 26/11 terror case which was being held in Pakistan. Modi also mentioned that terrorist activities and attacks in the country from Pakistan sponsored terrorist groups should immediately stopped.

The two leaders also talked about ways to enhance cooperation in the field of trade. The scheduled meeting of 35 minutes went to over 50 minutes. Government sources said Shariff invited Modi to visit Pakistan and the later accepted the invitation. It was said the dates of visit have to be worked up on. Shariff later met former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and President Pranab Mukherjee. He will be leaving to Pakistan later tonight.
