An accident took place in the Kacheguda Railway Station of Hyderabad City. An MMTS train coming from Malakpet crashed into a stationary train. The train is said to be Hundry Express. 10 people are reportedly injured in this crash while the passengers ran in fear.
The loco pilot of the MMTS train is said to be critical. Three bogies of the MMTS train got derailed. The crash would have been even more fatal if not for the MMTS train going at a low speed. Preliminary reports say that the accident happened due to a technical glitch.
The signal is given to a train when another train is already present on a track. Passengers are demanding that those responsible should be dealt with severely. Railway officials rushed to the spot and have shifted those injured to Kacheguda hospital. Trains arrivals and departures were impacted due to this accident.
