The Polling for three MLC Seats is finished the other day and the results are in the ballot boxes. These three seats are naturally belonging to YSR Congress but the party lost its numbers to TDP’s Operation Akarsha and thus contests have ensured.
The counting will happen on Monday and both the parties are equally tensed about the results. TDP has taken the election prestigious. Losing here will be a blow to the ruling party and will also be unnecessary since it is a thumb rule in politics that who should not field a candidate in other’s majority seat unless you are sure of winning.
On the other side, these three seats – Nellore, Kadapa, and Kurnool are strongholds of YSR Congress. Losing here will send wrong signals to the people across the state. Both the parties are hoping that cross voting happens in their favour and will help them win.
