A Telangana farmer from Ramnnagudem got into a risky and unusual protest as the government officials do not release his land’s Pattadar passbook despite him making continuous followups with Revenue officials for three years. The Mehbubabad farmer named Sudhakar with frustration sat up for a protest against the revenue official and the MLA involved in the issue.
As the man says, the land that he has been cultivating the farm for years and has been roaming around the government offices for his rightful pattadar passbook for his land only to know that their MLA is holding the papers to be given to the man so long. The Tahasildar apparently revealed to Sudhakar that MLA spoke to him on phone and asked not to handover the passbook to the farmer with which he got into this protest by trying to bury himself in his own farm.
He was brought out of the ditch after a long argument by the police and was got back to the revenue office with media where even people around came in support to him demanding the issue to be resolved until the MRO came out and assured the justice to be done in his case. Only then Sudhakar left the premises. Whatever he did, his unusual protest and videos are going viral on the internet with people appreciating his efforts to take on the MLA and the government officials to do their work.
