Mission-60-for-YS-Jagan-Mohan-ReddyOpposition Leader, YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to begin a new tour in the name of Samara Shankaravam from February 4th. He will be touring Tirupati, Kadapa, Anantapur district and will brainstorm with the party leaders in those places and is also likely to finalize some of the candidates in those districts.

Jagan in this tour will examine the party’s readiness for the elections. The main focus of this Tour is to win the majority seats in Rayalaseema which and Southern Coastal Andhra is the stronghold of the Opposition Party. The Target is to have a minimum of 60 seats out of the total 74 seats in the Rayalaseema Area along with Prakasam and Nellore.

The party was able to win 43 out of the 74 seats in 2014 elections. Winning 60 seats is not easy for YSR Congress but if the party could manage, YSR Congress would just need another 28 seats for the Simple Majority. 28 from the remaining 101 seats should be very easy Jagan feels.

YSR Congress winning 60 out of the 74 seats will mean TDP will be decimated even in the stronghold like Anantapur. TDP has concentrated on Rayalaseema big time in this tenure by bringing big ticket investments and Krishna water to some parched areas for the first time. So, it has to be seen if Jagan will be successful in his mission 60.
