MIM Ends Presidential Elections DilemmaHyderabad based MIM party is keen on expanding its base across the country and is contesting in all the elections where Muslims are in majority. But the party failed to win a single seat in the Nanded Waghala Municipal Corporation (NWMC) elections in Maharashtra.

It is disappointing since MIM had 11 seats in the outgoing corporation besides the support of two independents. The party had fielded candidates in 32 seats and went to the election with an alliance with BSP but to of no use.

Nanded is predominantly Muslim majority area and so this kind of result is not expected. MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi along with party legislators had extensively campaigned in this election. The party feels it is the time to review their election strategy across the country.
