Military-Manned Lockdown to be Imposed in the CountryAccording to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of Coronavirus cases in India reached 492. The cases are on a rise in the last 3-4 days. Meanwhile, the people are either ignorant or negligent about the Lockdown imposed in various states and are defying the lockdown to come on roads.

They are risking their own lives and the lives of others as well in the process. In this precarious situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation tonight. This is the Second Address of the Prime Minister to the people of the country after the Coronavirus Outbreak.

Rumors are rife that the Prime Minister will announce a Military-manned Lockdown and the Armed forces will be deployed in the states to help the local police and other law enforcement. The Government is trying its level best to avoid the Stage-3 of Community Transmission. If it gets there, things will be very tough to control in a hugely populated country like India.

On the other side, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is holding a high-level emergency meeting in Pragathi Bhavani and is likely to address the media later this evening. A video-conference is going on with district collectors, SPs, and Police Commissioners all over the state.
