micromax 200 crores in telanganaMobile manufacturing giant Micromax is all set to invest 200 Crore in Telangana. This investment will take place in three phases and will employ 1000 persons in the first phase itself. The company expected to begin its commercial operations from April 2016.

All the necessary permissions for the company was accorded by the state government in record time through its recently launched TS-iPASS. The Chief Minister had given permit letter to the company on Wednesday.

Micromax co-founder Rajesh Agarwal said the very transparent and speedy permission system in place in Telangana prompted them to choose the newest state of the country over the other states. The government had agreed to allocate 36 acres for the company and accorded permission within two weeks. The piece of land is identified and pricing of the land is yet to be finalised.
