The Delhi liquor scam has been making headlines ever since the central government started an inquiry into the matter. Already CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) have made a couple of arrests in Telugu states.
While one happens to be AP ruling party YSRCP’s MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy’s son Raghav Reddy, the other person happens to be ex auditor of Kalvakunthala Kavita, Gorantla Buchi Babu.
Both Reddy and Babu have been taken into judicial custody while Buchi Babu has been sent to Tihar jail. The ED has accused Kavita and Ongole MP’s son Raghav Reddy of tampering with Delhi liquor policies in favor of their business.
While these proceedings are on, today, ABN media house had an amusing write-up linking it to a picture of Kavita and her brother, minister KTR talking in the Telangana Legislative Assembly. They wrote that as if they were reading their minds. They wrote Kavita seemed to be in a panic and was seeking help from her brother as the noose around her neck is tightening.
Though one cannot help but notice that, on the other side, KCR was giving a bombarding speech against Prime Minister Modi as the brother-sister duo was talking in the background. Now, if the family was worried, they wouldn’t have targeted Modi at this crucial time.
So ABN’s commentary surely seems out of place and was written just to spread their agenda against KCR!
