Media failing to represent Andhra Pradesh needsThere are numerous News Channels in Telugu and we are seeing lot more cropping up every month. However all these channels are operating out of Hyderabad and is behaving ‘alien’ to Andhra Pradesh needs and aspirations, according to the view of the AP government. Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao had a clear cut plan for media.

He lent a friendship hand with the all powerful Ramoji Rao and dealt severely with TV9 and ABN – Andhra Jyothy in the initial days. Fearing the government’s iron fist, most channels have fallen in line with the Telangana government and is showcasing news suiting to Telangana government’s aim and aspiration.

Chandrababu Naidu reportedly is of the opinion that these channels are portraying Telangana government better than AP government and creating a wrong public perception. The channels also failed to portray several issues plaguing AP due to faulty bifurcation, Naidu opines. However he is not keen on having media setup by TDP and so is looking for interested investors who are looking to setup Media channels totally AP centric.
