Tamil Nadu Governor CH Vidya Sagar Rao has directed Tehsildar and Mahabalipuram DSP to check the Golden Bay Resort where the AIADMK MLAs were camping to check if they are illegally locked up. Reporters and camerapersons who followed them were attacked outside the resort premises.
Men parked in 30 cars have pelted stones on the media after letting the cars of the officials into the resort. Sasikala‘s Camp claims that there are 128 MLAs in the resort and all of them are supporting her. The MLAs reportedly have no access to their phones, TV or internet.
There are also the media reports that some of the MLAs are protesting inside the resort to let them join O Paneerselvam’s team. They say Sasikala has deployed bouncers to handle them. On the other side, Tamil Nadu Governor is still silent about the next move to drive away the political vacuum.
