Former Congress Minister Marri Shasidhar Reddy’s Son, Aditya Reddy has joined Kodanda Ram’s Telangana Jana Samiti Party. He joined the party this morning in the Presence of the TJAC Chairman. Aditya Reddy is keen on contesting the coming elections on TJS Ticket.
Shashidhar Reddy is the son of Former Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh, Marri Chenna Reddy. He was elected as a MLA for four times from Sanathnagar Assembly constituency. First time he contested in by-polls in 1992 and he was elected again three times (1994, 2004, 2009) from the same constituency.
He lost to Talasani Srinivas Yadav in the last elections who contested on TDP ticket and later joined TRS to become a Minister. Even though his son has joined Telangana Jana Samiti, Shashidhar Reddy is expected to remain in Congress and fight 2019 Elections from Sanathnagar Constituency once again.
