Margadarsi-Chit-Funds-RaidsAndhra Pradesh’s Registration and Stamps department have conducted raids against Ramoji Rao-owned Margadarsi Chit fund offices across Andhra Pradesh.

The raids happened in the offices at thirteen places in Andhra Pradesh.

The department verified the accounting documents and records of tax payments. According to a report in Eenadu, no files or documents have been seized.

It was a plain reporting in Eenadu without any mention of Vendetta politics.

Sakshi reported the issue on the main page today calling chit funds as cheat funds. To mask the vendetta politics behind the raids, it tried to add neutral color saying how the raids are routine and happened on eighteen companies.

Even though the department did not make any statement until now, Sakshi reported generic violations and made allegations against Margadarshi. It also carried a picture of raids on the office of Kakinada Margadarshi.

Only Sakshi managed to get the photo inside the office where the media has no access.

Andhrajyothy wrote a comprehensive piece, unlike Eenadu in a complete conspiracy angle. It has elaborately written how there is an agenda behind the raids, the motive, etc. It has also written how the teams going to the raids were trained for three days on twelve issues to be verified.
