Mangalagiri is the constituency which has defeated Nara Lokesh in 2019. Alla Rama Krishna Reddy emerged as the Giant Killer. Back then, Jagan promised to make him a Minister but forget about the cabinet berth, Jagan is clipping the wings of Alla wherever possible.
Recently, Tadpellai Former MPP Donthireddy Vema Reddy who does not see eye to eye with RK was made Tadepalli – Mangalagiri Town President of YSR Congress.
This appointment happened without the knowledge of the MP and Donthireddy is carrying out party activities without informing or involving the MLA.
RK is on holiday abroad and is likely to skip Jagan’s meeting tomorrow in his own constituency. These developments have given rise to two groups in the party in a crucial constituency.
Meanwhile, it is exactly the opposite in the TDP camp. The entire local leadership of TDP came together and is vowing to defeat the YSR Congress candidate in the coming elections.
Jangala Samba Siva Rao, a key leader of the party in the constituency was staying away from the party since 2019. He himself called for a meeting of the leaders in his own constituency and vowed to work together for Lokesh’s victory.
They are confident Nara Lokesh will win with nothing less than 25,000 votes majority this time.
