Mangalagiri: Alla's Group Down & InactiveAlla Rama Krishna Reddy emerged as a Giant Killer in Mangalagiri by defeating Former Minister and Chandrababu Naidu’s son, Nara Lokesh.

Lokesh risked contesting from a constituency where TDP did not win since 1989 and paid a hefty price for it. But the Nara scion surprised everyone by not leaving Mangalagiri.

He has appointed a team and stays in touch with the people of the constituency regularly.

Alla who won the 2014 elections with just 12 votes won over Lokesh with 5,337 votes.

Back then, Jagan promised that Alla would be made a minister if he defeats Lokesh.

But in both the cabinet rejigs, Jagan did not do that.

The supporters of Alla and the MLA himself were disappointed with this and slowed down significantly in the constituency.

They are also demoralized due to TDP’s activeness in the constituency.

There is a rumor in the constituency that Alla will not be given a ticket for 2024.

As things stand today, everything looks positive for Lokesh to win Mangalagiri in 2024.
