Munikoti who tried to immolate himself with Petrol the other day demanding Special Status to Andhra Pradesh is now no more. He breathed his last while being treated in a private hospital in Chennai.
Despite the best efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved having suffered more than 70% burns. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed his heart felt condolences to Munikoti’s family and called for the people to stay calm.
Naidu said he believes Center will accord special status to the state and reminded youth that their lives are very valuable to their families and the society. This unfortunate incident will flare up the anger of the people who are vexed up with the apathy of the center.
