Akansha Sharma from West Bengal fell in love with her online friend Uday, lied to her parents that she is going to the US and went to Bhopal and was in a living relationship with her boyfriend Uday since 6 months, finally, ended up in a tomb which became the bed for her boyfriend for a month to sleep on.
They met online and were in a relationship for ten years but never met. And then, Akansha decided to live-in with Uday last year and moved to his place in Bhopal where they both lived together for about 6 months. Though, Akansha lied to her parents that she is moving to the US, she used to call them often till December, after which her parents and friends didn’t have any contact with her.
With no response from his daughter for a long time, Akansha’s father lodged a missing complaint with police, who with an investigation by tracing the calls made from her number, ended in Bhopal at Uday’s home. Uday confessed that he killed her in anger a month ago while they had a verbal fight.
He strangled her and placed her in a wooden coffin and then built a tomb with cement and concrete which took 3 hours for the police to drill out. The man converted the tomb as his bed and used to sleep on it as he confessed. What kind of a world are we living in!
