Neighbouring country, Pakistani is suffering for its own misdeeds. As many as 10 militants of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) tried to siege Karachi Airport just before midnight on Sunday. Pakistan Police and Army had to fight for almost 12 hours to eliminate the militants armed with rocket launchers and suicide vests. They planned to hijack flights and take passengers on hostage but their plans were averted.
28 people were killed which includes the 10 millitants. Eight airport security guards and four workers from Pakistan International Airlines also lost their lives while another 26 people were wounded. International media says the militant wants to hijack a flight and crash in to some significant place in India. On that lines, a major threat to India was successfully averted. Pakistan has the history of grooming terrorism against India but the militants had come after Pakistan’s own skin in the recent years.
