Maharashtra Drama Reaches Climax, All Eyes on Amit ShahSupreme Court has given its final verdict on Maharashtra Crisis. The Apex court asked Devendra Fadnavis to prove his majority on the floor of the house by tomorrow 5 PM. The court also instructed the Protem Speaker to finalize the numbers only through the Division of Vote which means counting of heads.

The entire proceedings should be live telecast as well. Both sides have resorted to Camp Politics and are confident that they will win. NCP claims that most of its MLAs have come back and pledge to support Sharad Pawar’s Leadership. But with Modi and Shah on the BJP side, anything can happen.

It is known that BJP had sprung a surprise by breaking NCP. Ajit Pawar was sworn in as the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra after he gave a letter to the Governor that NCP is supporting BJP. Since Pawar is the leader of NCP in the house, Governor deemed it legal.

On the other side, it has to be seen who will be selected as the Protem Speaker who will administer the process. Congress has the Senior Most MLA in the house but the Governor can overrule that and make a BJP MLA as Protem Speaker.
