Long Queues at Jayalalithaa's Burial SpotMarina Beach, a place which is always packed with people who travel from various parts of the country, to enjoy the cold breeze and the beautiful beach waves. It has got another pack of visitors now who are coming in deep sorrow to pay their respect and love to their beloved leader late Jyamma.

Tamilnadu Cheif Minister Jayalalithaa who passed away on 5th was buried at the memorial of MGR, her godfather at marina beach. On 4th when she had the cardiac arrest, people started gathering at the hospital and stayed the whole night praying and hoping her recovery.

But unfortunately, their prayers and affection couldn’t stop the death of Jayalalithaa. The crowd with a great grief then moved to the funeral of Jaya and even after the funeral, the same crowd, in fact, a bigger group is moving to the burial place. Long queues formed at Marina Beach to have a look at the place where Amma is resting peacefully.

People are also found shaving their heads at the grave which is an act practiced when a close family member dies. They said that Jayalalithaa was their mother and they are showing their relationship with her by tonsure their heads.

On the other hand, a pack of barbers settled there to get the above work done charging double the usual pay. Shops and stalls selling food and flowers also seem to be drawing benefit out of the situation. Apparently, Jaya is benefiting people even after her death.
