Pawan Kalyan - Nara LokeshThe other day, Andhra Pradesh has relented and postponed the Intermediate exams. Students, parents, and teachers were in distress when the Government is adamant to have the offline elections risking the COVID Second Wave.

TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh has taken up this issue seriously and exerted pressure on the Government with various programs and finally takes home the credit in this issue. This is Lokesh’s first big political success.

Immediately, after the Government relented, there have been some claims on social media that it was Pawan Kalyan who wrote an open letter to the Government demanding the postponement of the exams and they say the credit should go to Pawan Kalyan.

Not going into the merits of the argument, it outlines the fact of what Pawan Kalyan lacks. For any politician, it is important to pursue any issue and ensure it gets a logical ending in favor of the people. It can not be like an issue is raked and is left with pursuing it.

Lokesh took the issue seriously and pressurized the Government. He conducted many press meets, Townhalls with students and families, etc to gain traction and public support for the issue. At the end, regardless of who raked the issue first, the credit will go to the one who fought the most.

Lokesh exhibited a better political sense than Pawan Kalyan in this issue. There is a lesson to be learned for the Janasenani.
