Jagan - chandrababu-naidu- Pawan-KalyanThe State Election Commission had issued a formal notification to MPTC/ZPTCs, Gram Panchayaths and Municipal Bodies in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The nomination process for MPTC and ZPTC elections began today. 660 ZPTCs and 9639 MPTC will go for the elections.

In the Second Phase, Panchayat Elections will happen. And in the third phase, Municipal Elections will happen. The entire exercise will be finished by March 29th. The State Government had postponed the SSC Examinations to facilitate Election Duty for the School Staff.

The Ruling Party which has bagged a sensational result with 151 MLAs and 23 MPs in recent elections wants to replicate the same success in these elections as well. The main opposition TDP is keen on bagging better results so as to improve the morale of its cadre.

BJP and Janasena which have joined hands recently would like to test their strength in these elections. Both parties do not have the strength at the grass-root levels to make an impression in these elections. Usually, any local election immediately after the General Elections tends to favor the Ruling Parties. Let us see what is in store this time!
