Kakinada Municipal Corporation Elections Counting is currently underway. TDP and BJP contested together in 48 divisions while BJP was given 9 seats. There are TDP Rebel candidates in all the nine seats of BJP. YSR Congress has pinned high hopes on this election to bring it some solace from that humiliating defeat of Nandhyal but the exit polls do not indicate that.
