Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s Liger has ended up as a disaster at the box office. But there’s a new controversy surrounding the film now and it also involves TRS bigwig and KCR’s Daughter, Kavitha.
Going into the story, a Congress leader named Bakka Judson has filed a complaint with the Enforcement Directorate, alleging Kavitha’s involvement in Liger.
“Liger was made to convert black money to white money. TRS’s Kavitha is involved with it. Before Liger started the shoot, she called many bigwigs and asked them to invest in the project. This a clear attempt to convert black money to white. She is also trying to project Vijay Deverakonda as a pan India star,” Judson said in a media statement.
“Approached @dir_ed to investigate investments of @TelanganaCMO daughter Kavitha Rao in Vijay’s Pan India Movie “LIGER”, produced by Charmmee and directed by Puri Jagannadh,” he tweeted.
“Liger is a huge loss venture but no financiers are coming out, seeking compensation. That’s because there’s a lot of black money involved. I have approached the ED to investigate the same,” he added.
The Congress leader went on to say that Kavitha forged a bond with these film stars during the Tollywood drugs case by giving them a clean chit.
