The Brother and Lawyer of Jagan‘s Kodi Kathi Case Accused, Srinivasa Rao have complained to the Police that the accused is being subject to mental and physical harassment by the Rajamundry Central Jail Authorities. This is the second complaint in the last month or so.
Police have not yet registered a case but are investigating the truth in the complaint. Srinivasa Rao got bail immediately after Jagan became the Chief Minister but NIA challenged the bail and got it canceled. The accused almost spent a year in the Jail.
On August 25 the last year, the then Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked with a Rooster Knife in Vishakapatnam Airport. Later it was known that the accused himself is a fan of Jagan and has resorted to the attack to create sympathy to Jagan ahead of the elections.
But YSR Congress refused to buy the argument and saw it as conspiracy to assassinate their leader. Upon their demands, the investigation was handed over to the NIA.
