Last Day to Give Feedback Over Amaravati Today is the last day to Express our opinion about Amaravati to the GN Rao committee appointed to decide the future of Amaravati and as well as relook at the urban planning and possible relocation. As part of the exercise, the members of the committee have been hearing opinions of different stakeholders.

People were asked to let the committee know their Opinion both through online and offline options. A representation of the farmers who have given their lands through the Land Pooling met the committee the other day and pitched to continue Amaravati as the Capital.

Nearly 9000 Crore is already spent by the State Government in the Capital and all that would go to drain if the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy decides to change it. Given the prejudice the Chief Minister holds for the Capital, no one would be surprised if the government decides to change the Capital.

The Committee claims to have traveled across the state and learned the Opinion of the people. It is expected to present its final report to the Government in a couple of weeks. And then, the future of Amaravati would be decided. In case, you would like to send your opinion to the committee, you can reach out at [email protected]
