Land Pooling in Amaravati Nears Completion of Crucial PhaseThe Land Pooling Exercise undertaken by the state government in the 29 villages of Amaravati region is nearing the end of a crucial phase. CRDA has finished the allotment of the returnable residential and commercial plots in 27 villages. The rest of the two villages will be completed.

Farmers from 29 Villages, 25614 of them have given 32221 acres under the Land Pooling Scheme. They will get about 12000 acres of Developed Plots. In the next stage, the government will go for land acquisition of the leftover bits and pieces.

Once it is complete, the onus is on the government to develop the given plots with basic amenities and infrastructure before giving them to the farmers. On the other side, the Capital Planning is almost nearing completion and the construction of crucial structures will begin this year itself with a target of 2018 year-end completion.
